We would ask you to observe the
following regulations during your visit to Harburn:-
1. Be ready to play when the starter calls you.
2. Wear suitable golf dress –
in particular singlets or sleeveless shirts, short or running
shorts or swimwear are not allowed. Shirts may not be removed
on the course.
3. For refreshment, take fruit
or soft drinks only with you – alcoholic drinks may not be taken
on the course.
4. Play at a reasonable pace and
do not lose touch with the game in front. If there is a clear
hole in front of you and a faster game waiting behind, you MUST
stand back at the next tee and allow the faster game to play through.
5. Trolleys must not be taken
nearer to greens than the white line limit, nor on to tees. Wide-wheeled
trolleys only.
6. Each player must have his/her
own set of clubs – sharing a bag is not allowed.
7. The Rules of Golf as laid down
by the R & A must be observed, together with local rules as
printed on the back of the scorecard and any temporary local rules
posted up on Notice Boards.
8. Divots must be replaced and
pitch marks repaired. After escaping from a bunker, rake the sand
carefully and leave the rake in the centre of the bunker.
9. Please co-operate with our
rangers and greens staff, who have the Club’s authority to check
your right to be on the course and to ensure that these regulations
are being observed.
Thank you for helping to maintain
the high standard of golf we aim to achieve at Harburn.
